As a Senior Software Engineer, you’ll be responsible for guiding and leading the architecture, delivery and development of the software systems that power our business unit. You’ll share a large amount of responsibility for the quality of the software being built, including but not limited to; achieving desired business outcomes, meeting reliability and performance expectations and safely managing security and data privacy concerns.

You will be solving real-world problems, encouraged to share your knowledge and experience, involved in decision making and have ownership of the software you write.

In this role a typical day may involve discussing functional requirements directly with pilots and implementing APIs to communicate these requirements, building dashboards to monitor the health of a server and writing automated tests that validate a weight and balance calculation.

You’ll have:

  • Proven experience in backend software development and testing.

  • Good technical skills and demonstrable knowledge of at least one programming language.

  • Leadership qualities and an approachable attitude to educate, mentor and influence the team.
