Job Summary:
We are seeking a Junior Developer with 3-5 years of experience in Core Banking systems, specifically within the Remittance domain. The role involves developing, maintaining, and enhancing payment solutions on REM & ROS platforms, ensuring seamless integration with AS400/DB2 environments. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with RPG and Cobol programming, and a strong understanding of remittance workflows including SWIFT, RTGS, GIRO, and real-time payment systems.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain applications on REM & ROS payment platforms.

• Write, test, and debug programs using RPG and Cobol on AS400 systems.

• Work with AS400/DB2 databases to ensure data integrity and performance.

• Implement and support remittance processes such as Telegraphic Transfers, Demand Drafts, Cashier's Orders, Local RTGS, GIRO, and real-time payments (FAST, PayNow).

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate payment solutions with external systems via MQ, SFTP, and Direct Connect.

• Ensure compliance with banking standards and security protocols.

• Provide technical support and troubleshooting for production issues.

• Required Skills:

• Strong programming skills in RPG and Cobol.

• Experience with AS400 operating system and DB2 database.

• Knowledge of REM & ROS payment platforms.

• Familiarity with Aldon for version control and deployment.

• Understanding of remittance processes and payment systems (SWIFT, RTGS, GIRO, FAST, PayNow).

Nice-to-Have Skills:

• 3-5 years of relevant experience

• Experience with middleware technologies such as MQ and SFTP.

• Exposure to Direct Connect integrations.

• Knowledge of payment messaging standards and formats.

• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills with attention to detail.
