Requirements:

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a veterinary hospital or animal clinic
  • Working knowledge of standard industry tools and equipment
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work well in a team environment
  • Knowledge of animal care and behavior
  • Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
  • Proficient in computer skills and medical record-keeping software
  • Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays

*The pay rate for this position is $15.00 - $20.00 per hour, depending on experience, education, licensure, and certifications.

Keene Veterinary Hospital is actively looking for an Experienced Veterinary Technician to join our great team. The ideal candidate must be confident in rooming patients, assisting in surgery, surgical recovery, placing IV catheters, drawing blood and running bloodwork, have experience with in-clinic laboratory, have knowledge of x-ray and positioning, understand the importance of client education, have experience with proper animal handling and restraint, able to dispense and administer medications prescribed by the veterinarian, and is a positive and supportive team member.
