What you'll do

This role will see you supporting data integrity, financial forecasting and rich modelling, making sure they’re performed on an accurate and timely basis. You’ll also help deliver elements of substantiated and materially accurate capital and other regulatory data, as well as providing input into the end-to-end control and ownership of franchise and legal entity regulatory data.

Day-to-day, you’ll also be:

  • Enabling the delivery and integrity of daily and monthly financial information
  • Managing the end-to-end business unit control, including daily profit and loss production and analysis, and monthly balance sheet substantiations for central and franchise treasuries of the bank
  • Supporting all core Treasury activities in liquidity, capital, term funding, securitisation and interest rate and FX risk management space
  • Producing liquidity metrics for liquidity risk reporting as per the requirements under BASEL III and UK regulatory guidelines issued by the PRA
  • Identifying, resolving and providing solutions to issues arising from financials produced

The skills you'll need

You’ll have a CA or MBA qualification with extensive experience in the financial services industry. You’ll also have team management experience and the ability to mentor, coach and train team members to achieve objectives.

Additionally, you’ll need:

  • At least eight years of experience and a good understanding of fixed income derivatives and their accounting
  • Excellent accounting skills
  • Considerable knowledge of the drivers of liquidity and changing regulatory scenarios and requirements
  • A background in managing transitions and building strong business relationships in a changing environment
  • An understanding of financial business and products, which will be an advantage
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to clearly articulate issues to senior management and stakeholders
