About Flutter Studios:
Flutter Studios comprises three of Flutter’s in-house studios together with Product, Technology and Operations teams with the collective objective to create industry leading casino game content exclusively for Flutter casino brands worldwide.
Role Overview:
The Flutter Studios Technology Senior Product Owner will play a key role in the Product Creation Process and content pipeline within Flutter Studios Technology (FST). This role reports to the Associate Product Delivery Manager, and involves working closely alongside peers, developers, QA, Studios and Portfolio Managers in Flutter Studios as well as positively representing FST with Flutter Brand partners.
Key Accountabilities & Responsibilities:
Collaboratively work to align product roadmap to strategic goals leveraging Casino/iGaming experience
Understand and lead the building of the technical requirements based on Business needs through discussions with stakeholders and subject matter experts
Translate product requirements into functional requirements in a clear and concise manner that is comprehensible to developers/project team
Develop scope, prioritize, and assist in defining backlog items (epics/features/user stories) that guide the Agile software development team
Lead in the communications and support between the Studios, FST, QA and Flutter Brands stakeholders in a variety of time zones for the squad
Monitor the progress of multiple concurrent projects and delivery flows and make agile adjustments to ensure the successful completion
Provide timely status reports to management; participate in reporting as required and proactively communicate any delay or blockers
Solve product-related problems, make decisions, complete trade-off analysis, and prioritize to stay on track towards business deliverable commitments
Resilient when the initiative faces setbacks and can resolve issues and provide the team with resolution and encouragement.
Provide mentorship, support and coaching to more junior colleagues
Ensure process and initiative knowledge documents are updated on a frequent basis
Any other requests coming from management
Skills, Capabilities & Experience Required:
Strong experience in Casino/iGaming industry
Proactive, self-starter with excellent project management skills, personal accountability, and ability to plan and multitask effectively
Experience working with various stakeholders with the ability to effectively lead initiatives and coordinate between teams to deliver on a common goal and manage expectations
Communicate effectively and credibly across a wide range of channels with senior stakeholders, ability to simplify complex issues/risks/plans with non-technical senior stakeholders
Established background in launching software or services in partnership with engineering /development teams and high degree of proficiency in prototyping, and iterative development
Deep understanding and experience with Agile methodologies
Bachelor’s degree in technology, business or equivalent combination of education and experience with Confluence, JIRA and other development tools is an asset
