In this role you’ll make an impact by:

• Act as the local sensory lead to manage the internal sensory panel and conduct sensory-related activities, including sensory evaluation and training for internal and external stakeholders.

• Collaborate with colleagues from the Fresh Dairy application teams globally, focusing on sensory aspects.

• Plan, execute, and report on trials at the RAC and customer plants as directed by the RAC Manager.

• Plan and design laboratory research and develop experiments and projects.

• Critically evaluate and interpret the results obtained.

• Conduct and ensure completion of technical service reports (TSRs).

• Provide technical support to sales and customers in a specific area, collaborating closely with the segment responsible.

• Can take on a multifaceted position, meeting high demands for analytical skills, innovative thinking, and working cross-functionally and cross-culturally.

• Collaborates closely with business development to develop and document existing concepts and solutions on the technical side.

• Engages with customers in a courteous and professional manner.

• Maintains lab GMP environment and adheres to HACCP policy for all lab activities.

• Enjoys the combination of sensory responsibility (50%) and project management/execution (50 %).

Potentially relevant experience: 

• Master's degree or higher in a relevant field
• Professional working proficiency in English and Chinese (oral and written)
• Proficient problem-solving skills and practical aptitude
• Strong team-oriented mindset
• Positive and adaptable attitude
• Quality-focused and detail-oriented
• Methodical and structured work approach
