Responsibilities:

• Provide oversight and RCR (Retail Credit Risk) policy adherence-based reviews of Collections and Credit Operations activities for the Independent Risk Customer Credit Engagement Oversight (CCEO) team

• Partner with Business Risk teams and Independent Risk oversight teams to drive efficiencies and improvements in credit and collections processes.

• In coordination with product specialists, execute oversight processes in order to enhance governance that result in achieving/exceeding Heightened expectations for the functional areas of collections, credit initiation and existing customer management.

• Participate in focused reviews within the Collections and Credit Operations areas to validate policy compliance and identify process gaps if any.  Work with businesses to establish and validate Corrective Action Plans as needed.

• Assist the CCEO team in preparation for reviews with senior risk management leadership, internal and external review teams, control forums and risk committees.

• Provide support to the Director, Oversight for Collections and Credit Operations by organizing monthly review and quarterly CRO review content.

Provide support as needed to the Managing Director of CCEO for various regulatory organizations, such as OCC, CFPB, and FRB.

• As an individual contributor, leverage existing data repositories and reporting tools to provide meaningful exception/outlier reports and transactional analysis to other members of the CCEO team.

Key Responsibilities/Scope/Span-of-Control:

• Reports to the Director of Credit and Collections Operations Oversight - two down to the Managing Director of USPB CCEO.

• Works closely with all members of the CCEO team, as well as collaborating with subject matter experts within the USPB, Legacy and Wealth Independent Risk management (2LOD) in order to effectively challenge the activities and controls within the 1LOD Risk and Operations teams.

• Occasional engagement with Legal, Compliance, and Technology as part of focused reviews


Qualifications:

• 10+ years experience in Risk and/or Operations Management

• Knowledge of consumer risk management credit cycle processes and asset product operations

• Knowledge of applicable laws and regulations as well as the current environment which governs our polices and practices

• Able to interface and partner with various levels of management in Global/Region/Business and across functions.  Communicate complex issues in concise executive summaries

• Candidates must have effective negotiation skills, a proactive and 'no surprises' approach in communicating Risk issues, and strength in sustaining autonomous views

• Work under pressure, and able to handle multiple tasks concurrently

• Experience with Credit data repositories, analytical databases, and reporting tools (Tableau)

• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Teams, Word, Excel, and Powerpoint. 

Education:

Bachelor’s/University degree required, Master’s degree preferred

$141,440.00 - $212,160.00
