About the Role:

The Business Insight Analyst will contribute to a global team responsible for providing world class customer and market insights to inform Dow Jones Risk proposition roadmaps. 

This position also involves supporting the financial crime and third-party risk proposition and product leadership. 

Specific responsibilities encompass detailed ‘desk’ research; data collection and analysis; participation in the development of new products and/or product enhancements; and involvement in projects aimed at improving customer and market insights and process efficiency. The role will be an integral part of a core local team while also collaborating closely with colleagues internationally, including sales, marketing, product and technology teams.

You Will:

• Perform industry and market research on potential areas of growth to assess market dynamics, trends, and competitive landscapes. Participate in market analysis projects alongside local and/or global team members.

• Assist the team with tracking competitors (e.g. major events, product releases, earnings, strategic partnerships, etc.)

• Gain comprehensive understanding of Dow Jones Risk’s market dynamics and industry trends.

• Develop knowledge of news publishing and professional information industries.

• Provide support in the collection and review of market and customer data.

• Assist in the creation and delivery of internal market assessments and client deliverables.

• Support team members in the delivery of insights to the business, such as setting up and leading presentations. 

You Have:

• Demonstrated proficiency in the Google suite of products (Sheets, Slides, Docs).

• Possession of robust analytical skills, including the capacity for creative problem-solving and meticulous attention to detail.

• Gained previous experience in a matrix organizational environment. 

• Exemplary organizational skills, evidenced by the ability to manage multiple tasks and effectively prioritize based on project deadlines.

• Excellent writing skills and demonstrated attention to detail.

• Experience in creating professional presentations is a plus.

• The ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with care and discretion.

• Fluency in English, both written and spoken, at a professional business level.
