We are seeking a skilled and experienced Workday HR Technology Analyst to join our dynamic HR Technology team. This role is pivotal in managing, configuring, and optimizing our Workday platform to support our strategic business objectives across all BMI countries. The successful candidate will grow into a subject matter expert for multiple Workday modules and will be responsible for providing advanced system support, leading enhancement projects, and ensuring data integrity.


A primary responsibility of this position is the management and resolution of all Workday-related support tickets submitted through ServiceNow and supporting all Workday-related training needs. The ideal candidate is a proactive problem-solver with technical expertise in Workday and a strong commitment to providing excellent user support.


This position will report to the North American HR Technology Team.


Key Responsibilities


Tier 1, 2, & 3 Support & Ticket Management:

  • Manage and resolve all BMI Workday-related tickets raised in ServiceNow in a timely and efficient manner, adhering to established Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
  • Triage, investigate, troubleshoot, and resolve complex user and system issues, maintaining clear and consistent communication with end-users throughout the process.
  • Serve as the primary escalation point for the BMI HR function on all Workday system-related inquiries.


Workday Configuration & Administration:

  • Partner with the HR Technology Team on the configuration, enhancement, and maintenance of Workday modules, including HCM Core, Performance Management, Goals, and Absence.
  • Assist the technical lead for Workday projects, including semi-annual releases, new feature adoption, and system enhancements.


Collaboration & Documentation:

  • Partner with HR Business Partners, Global Process Owners, GBS HR Delivery Team, and other stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into effective Workday solutions.
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive system documentation, user guides, and training materials.


Workday Training SME & Facilitation

  • Triage tier-1 support inquiries to identify recurring user pain points, using data insights to proactively update the training catalog and drive self-service adoption for Employees, Managers, HR, and GBS HR Delivery teams.
  • Partner with the HR Technology Team  to translate complex configuration changes and system updates into digestible job aids, quick-reference guides, and video tutorials.
  • Identify, coordinate, and co-facilitate regularly scheduled system onboarding for new hires, lead targeted navigation sessions, and host drop-in virtual "office hours" during major Workday feature rollouts for Managers, HR and GBS HR Delivery teams


Qualifications & Experience


Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
  • A minimum of 1-3 years of hands-on configuration experience with Workday.
  • Experience with Workday’s Human Capital Management (HCM) module is a must.
  • Experience in Workday’s Performance Management, Recruitment, Onboarding, Absence Management, and Custom Reporting would be considered as an advantage.
  • Ability to quickly learn Workday business processes (BPs) and comfortably explain them to non-technical audiences.
  • Understanding of HR principles, processes, and data.
  • Understanding of GDPR rules and regulations.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver high-quality results in a fast-paced environment.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical users.
  • Experience creating technical documentation, step-by-step user guides, or digital learning media.


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Highly desired: Experience with ServiceNow for IT Service Management (ITSM), including navigating the platform and managing the lifecycle of support tickets (creation, routing, resolution, closure)

The gross monthly salary for this role is between 3000 and 3800 EUR gross, with the final offer reflecting your qualifications and experience.
