Role Definition:

  • Manages engineering for design and development of technologies, components, systems, products, or services for wheeled mining products/ Mining Trucks.

Responsibilities:

  • Managing staffing, development, and performance management programs for engineering teams; motivating and developing project and team leaders.
  • Providing specialized engineering technical support and consulting services to various areas of the organization.
  • Managing high-impact, short and long duration engineering initiatives and projects; ensuring achievement of engineering plan and product quality.
  • Maintaining product release plans and material plans; driving programs to completion on time and within budget.
  • To make decisions, this position will work with immediate work group or project team, division/business unit, suppliers, internal and external customers, and the market, typically impacting one or more products, processes, or factories.

Degree requirements:

  • This position will require an accredited Mechanical engineering degree or a closely related technical degree with 10 to 15 years of experience. An advanced degree is highly desired. Candidates having product development experience to support NPIs & current production for Heavy Construction Industries would be highly desirable.
