About the Opportunity

The Global Fruit Movement role falls under the PBM function and focuses on strengthening the power of the global enterprise. The Global Fruit Movement manager is responsible for planning, coordination and executing global Fruit Movement streams from and to DEMEA sources for all berries. This includes fruit movement from other business units to DEMEA, but as well from DEMEA towards other business units – and for the short term also fruit movement from UK towards other destinations than local.

 

Responsibilities

In this strategic and operational role, you are the driving force behind all international fruit movements between DEMEA and other BU around the world. You make sure our berries reach the right markets at exactly the right moment while spotting opportunities, improving processes and leading a high-performing Go To Market team. You bring structure to the dynamic flow of our global business and momentum to its growth.

What You Will Do

This role ensures reliable supply, compliance, and operational efficiencies by aligning cross functional teams, managing governance framework and driving continuous improvement in the global fruit movement process. You combine strategic oversight with hands-on execution. You orchestrate global fruit flows, elevate operational performance, and act as a key connector across regions and teams. Your decisions directly shape our service levels, profitability and global supply continuity.

Strategy & Enterprise

  • Oversee global supply and demand processes for WK0-52 - movements to and from DEMEA.

  • Manage and lead Go To Market Team that includes logistics, transportation, cold chain, packaging, compliance, and quality.

  • Build a scalable fruit movement framework (meetings, processes, RACI).

  • Identify supply and demand opportunities and strengthen relationships with regions and growers.

  • Ensure accurate forecasting and scenario planning to support reliable supply and pricing strategie

  • Coordinate allocation workflows and pricing optimization across business units.

  • Ensure adherence to global compliance standards (MRLs, certifications, grower approvals).

  • Drive quality standardization across regions to meet diverse customer expectations.

Operations & Performance

  • Manage the full end-to-end fruit movement process from grower to customer.

  • Ensure flawless execution of planning, seasonal preparations and ad-hoc adjustments.

  • Monitor and improve processes, service levels and arrival quality.

  • Guarantee timely contracts, accurate administration and strong margin performance.

  • Identify and resolve bottlenecks in global fruit movement processes.

  • Implement systemic solutions for data visibility, reporting, and allocation (e.g., Anaplan, Tableau).

Stakeholder Management & Communication

  • Facilitate cross BU collaboration and decision making platforms

  • Deliver weekly KPI reports and communicate changes proactively.

  • Build trust and transparency across regions and functions

   

Candidate Profile

With your blend of experience, agility and strong communication skills, you know how to navigate complexity while keeping a clear focus on results. You thrive in an international environment, build strong relationships across functions and regions, and bring the proactive mindset needed to keep our global fruit movement running smoothly every day. 

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in FMCG/Food. 
  • 5–7 years of experience in S&OP, supply chain, import/export or trade. 
  • Strong sense of structure, ability to maintain overview and switch quickly in dynamic environments. 
  • Persuasive communicator with solid analytical skills and commercial awareness. 
  • Strategic mindset.
  • Handles ambiguity and pivots quickly in dynamic environments.
  • Comfortable switching gears from strategy to hands-on problem solving.
  • Proactive, solution-oriented, resilient and flexible across time zones.
  • Excellent command of the English language. 
  • Willingness to travel (approx. 20%).
