As our next Global Forwarding Agent, you’ll start with onsite onboarding to master our systems and culture, you’ll lead ocean export operations from booking through delivery, ensuring clients' cargo moves smoothly across borders with the speed and accuracy they expect. Your knowledge of ocean export will set the tone for exceptional service and help power our global reach.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

The duties and responsibilities of this position consist of, but are not limited to, the following:

• Manage international ocean export operations from purchase order through final delivery
• Resolve sea logistics challenges with industry expertise and critical thinking
• Coordinate bookings, customs filings, deliveries, and invoicing according to SOPs
• Collaborate with global teams and third-party agents to ensure smooth sea cargo movement
• Build strong relationships by responding promptly to customer needs and tracking resolutions
• Provide precise reporting and documentation to internal and external stakeholders
• Participate in business reviews, offering insights for enhanced sea freight service
• Identify and implement process improvements to optimize sea freight efficiency

QUALIFICATIONS:

Required Qualifications:

• Minimum of 2 years of global forwarding experience, specifically in ocean export
• Fluency in French and English for effective international communication
• Must have access to a car and be able to commute to the office 

Preferred Qualifications:

• Skilled in Microsoft Office Suite for daily operational tasks
• Exceptional communication, prioritization, and multi-tasking abilities
• Proven success delivering high-quality customer service and client-focused solutions
• Strong follow-up abilities with both customers and internal networks
• Resourceful in navigating evolving ocean freight tasks with critical thinking and adaptability
• Meticulous attention to detail across documentation and shipment workflows
• Comfortable in a high-speed, deadline-driven logistics environment
