San Antonio Animal Hospital is seeking a full-time, experienced veterinary technician to join our established, close-knit team! Located in charming San Antonio, FL, our hospital enjoys small-town charm with easy access to the Tampa area — the perfect blend of a relaxed pace and modern convenience. Our team works collaboratively, values strong technical skills, and supports one another every day.

Who You Are

You’re an experienced veterinary technician who enjoys being involved in patient care from start to finish. You’re confident in your technical abilities, comfortable working independently, and take pride in doing things the right way.

We’re looking for someone with experience in:

• Safe and effective animal handling and restraint

• Phlebotomy in cats and dogs

• In-house diagnostics, including:

  • Reading fecal samples

  • Ear cytology

  • Skin cytology

• Supporting veterinarians during appointments and procedures

• Strong communication and organizational skills

Nice to have, but not required:

• Experience with surgery and anesthesia

• Credentialed (CVT, RVT, or LVT) or eligible for licensure based on state requirements

Schedule

• 8-hour shifts or variable scheduling

• Monday through Saturday
