ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES
Basic Qualifications:
- Technical knowledge and ability to read instructions, service manuals, specifications, drawings etc.
- Ability to use tools (Micrometers, installation tools, torque wrenches, power tools) and test equipment
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Good understanding of quality control procedures
- Good communication skills (verbal and written)
Responsibilities:
- Read and follow instructions and established procedures.
- Collect all materials and tools needed to complete the procedure.
- Use precision tools to measure and assist in the assembly of the engine using both power and manual tools.
- Recognize the correct orientation of complex components.
- Ensure that all engine fasteners are tightened and torque to the correct value.
- Maintain tools and equipment in good condition.
- Keep records of production measurements, quantities, and time.
- Report issues, malfunctions, or defective components.
- Maintain a “Tour Ready” work environment.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
- Excellent hand-eye coordination and physically able to perform position requirements.
- Able to stand on cement floors for 8 plus hours
- Ability to lift and install engine components weighing 40 lbs. repeatability and 80 lbs. occasionally
ENVIRONMENT / EQUIPMENT & MACHINERY
This position is in a manufacturing environment, primarily focused on the assembly area. Regular exposure to noise, oil, paint, lubricants, sealants, and cleaning chemicals.
