Job Summary
Medline Industries has an immediate opening for a Regional Sales Manager based out of Puerto Rico. The Regional Sales Manager is responsible for ensuring the productivity and development of the activities of the assigned sales team through the design and execution of sales strategies and customer service models to look for solutions. This person will also be responsible for the improvement and growth options to increase the client portfolio and reach the sales goals.Job Description
Responsibilities:
Build the sales team and provide leadership and advice, for both the sales organization and corporate, in the execution of sales goals aligned with the business objectives.
Develop and manage a high performance sales team, through the creation of an onboarding and training process.
Develop sales and short and long term marketing strategies for each region and diverse distribution channels.
Identify and implement best practices to ensure that knowledge exchange is effective throughout the assigned territory.
Manage the sales forecasts and operative processes that support the commercial department.
Identify, manage (CRM) and capitalize the territory's assigned markets opportunities.
Form and develop strong relations with the clients responsible for the decision making in their organizations.
Work directly and indirectly as a team to handle the change processes and the execution of projects in global markets.
Maintain client satisfaction standards through due diligence and effective problem solving.
Ensure that all business units comply with the specific legal requirements from each market.
Required Experience
Education
Bachelor's Degree in Administration, Marketing or similar
Work Experience
At least 7 years of experience managing people, including hiring, developing, motivating and directing people in a sales management role.
Experience in sales administration and international commerce.
Direct experience in management, socialization and administration of constant change.
Skills
Be highly motivated, autonomous, flexible and action and client oriented.
A combination of strategy, sales analysis and skill/desire to develop and train sales representatives is key.
Be an effective communicator and impactful presenter/speaker.
Demonstrated ability in building and fostering solid work relations with inside and outside clients.
Advanced skill in the English language.
Be an effective leader, capable of developing high performance teams.
Effective administration of continuous improvement projects.
Intermediate skill in Microsoft Office: Excel, Word, Power Point, etc.
Ability to work through the cultural and multi-functional differences of the organization.
Profound understanding of the fundamental basis of a business, corporate strategy and organizational behavior.
Capable of working under pressure.
Conflict solving.
Availability to travel.
Preferred Job Requirements
Education
Master's Degree in Business Administration, Finance or similar.
Work Experience
Experience in commercial areas of pharmaceutical, healthcare, hospital services or medical devices specialized companies.
