RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Sustain and maintain Allegro's mass production Assy in all assigned Assy subcontractors to ensure all production goals are met / achieved.
  • Daily monitoring and follow-up of Activities and Supplier Open issues and provide a weekly status report to management.
  • Actively participating and taking lead in relevant data analysis, evaluation & experiment (e.g. DOE) and maintain constant presence in subcontractor production line when necessary.
  • Work closely with Allegro PD and SQ Eng to ensure areas for Continuous Improvement are identified, acted upon, implemented and measured.
  • Liaise with Packaging NPI team to ensure hand over of projects from NPI status to Mass Production.
  • Resolve and Manage ALLEGRO and supplier’s CAR (with SQM) and NCL (e.g. low yield, quality deviations, etc).
  • Consult regularly and openly with colleagues in Quality, Test and Assembly regarding Assembly and Quality related issues at internal and offshore sites to maintain process consistency affecting assembled product quality.
  • Participate in all Supplier Assembly Audit Activities in coordination with SQM or any responsible personnel in specific area of interest.
  • Identified areas for continuous improvement in system approach to meet Allegro/Customer dynamic requirement.
  • Nurture good relationship between Allegro and Suppliers. Always conduct him / herself in a professional manner when representing Allegro Semiconductor when addressing internal and external colleagues.
  • Mentor offshore assembly engineers through training conducting, consulting and coaching as well for the above responsibilities

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Degree in Mechanical or Material Science Engineering discipline or equivalent.
  • Min 10 years experiences in Semiconductor assembly manufacturing process and expertise in process.
  • Good English communication skills (writing, reading & speaking). Chinese language proficiency is a plus.
  • Good knowledge of Quality Systems and usage of Quality Tools Can work independently and in team setup.
  • Knowledge of PC productivity software (Excel & Email)
  • Knowledge in semiconductor Failure Analysis
  • Good in performing Design of Experiments (DOE)
  • Familiarity in generating 8D (preferably with Global 8D training)
  • Good leadership and ownership mindset, people communication
