Job Description:

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, implement, and manage the Active Directory infrastructure, ensuring high availability, performance, and security.
  • Lead Active Directory projects, including upgrades, migrations, and the integration of new business acquisitions.
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive Active Directory documentation, including architecture designs, configuration standards, and operational procedures.
  • Implement and manage Active Directory security measures, including group policies, access controls, and auditing to protect against unauthorized access and ensure compliance with industry regulations.
  • Collaborate with other IT teams to support the integration of Active Directory with other systems, such as email, collaboration tools, and identity management solutions.
  • Provide expert-level support for Active Directory-related issues, including troubleshooting complex problems and advising on best practices.
  • Stay abreast of new technologies and industry trends related to Active Directory and identity management, and recommend improvements to our environment.
  • Mentor junior team members, sharing knowledge and expertise to support their professional growth.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Advanced degrees or certifications (e.g., MCSE: Core Infrastructure) are a plus.
  • At least 10 years of hands-on experience with Active Directory design, implementation, and management in a large, complex environment.
  • Expertise in Active Directory Federation Services (ADFS), Azure Active Directory, and Office 365 integration.
  • Strong understanding of DNS, DHCP, Group Policy, and PowerShell scripting.
  • Proven experience with Active Directory migrations and upgrades.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.
  • Strong communication and leadership skills, with the ability to lead projects and work effectively with both technical and non-technical teams.
