The student will be assisting with individual projects that can include but not limited to:

Learning about budgeting process and financial reporting

Updating data base systems/general ledger mapping to be used for financial reporting

Monitoring units of service against budget and forecast

Assisting Budget Managers in reconciling and analyzing revenue and expense accounts and researching budget variances

Assisting in the preparation and reconciliation of various governmental contracts and fee for service programs

Review and preparation of year-end analysis and detail schedules for the Consolidated Financial Report (CFR)

Reviewing our current Chart of Accounts listing and updating it for unused/suspended accounts

Assist in the review and consolidation of petty cash account listings

Prepare monthly journal entries

Assist in day to day activities

Perform other duties as assigned
