What We Need

We are looking for a Prop Artist to support and collaborate with a team of artists to create 3D assets that are both visually stunning and contribute to the creation of amazing environments. The ideal candidate should be able to assist the Environment Art team in creating a fulfilling 3D space, working closely with Art Direction, Tech Art, and Engineering to understand, explore and execute a cohesive visual style; additionally, working with Design to ensure both game metrics and world-building mesh together. This is an amazing opportunity to work side-by-side with great talent to establish a new 2K franchise. (maybe 31st Union franchise? And is it a franchise? )

What You Will Do

• ​​Create props for in-game use that match art style and vision and are performant in-game
• Create textures and materials that align with the style and tone of the game
• Take direction and feedback from the Art Director and Art Leads in order to grow art skills
• Collaborate closely with other Art teams
• Organize and manage all prop assets and tasks to meet deadline constraints

Required experience:

• 2+ years of relevant work in the industry
• Ability to create models, texturing, UV, materials, and authoring collisions in environment art pipelines
• Self-motivated team player with great communication skills and with the ability to work in a feedback centric & evolving environment
• Detail oriented and very organized is a MUST
• Experience with various software packages including Unreal Engine, Maya and Substance Painter
• Ability to adapt to different art styles is a PLUS
• Ability and willingness to learn and expand your art skills
• Ability to translate 2D concepts or references into 3D models
• Passion for video games and commitment to learning in an effort to best service players and fans
• Able to work and communicate in English is a MUST
