Job Description:
The selected candidates’ task encompasses the following: develops, tests, and integrates network configurations with COTS network components, GFE, NSA type 1 encryptors, and radio/terminal systems. The selected candidate will be performing these duties on a later identified program in Huntsville, Alabama.
Basic Qualifications:
• 5 Years with Bachelors in Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM); 3 Years with Masters; 1 Year with PhD. DoD Preferred.
• Active Secret Security Clearance
• 8570 IAT Level II Certification
• Experience with network engineering, including development and configuration, including Layer 2 networking fundamentals; VLANs, Trunking, Ether-channels, spanning-tree. And layer 3 technologies like Sub-Interfaces and routing protocols.
• Experience with Cisco components, including Routers, Switches, and Firewalls
• Quick learner
• Ability to adapt to rapid change
• Subnetting IPv4 and IPv6 networks.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Prior Air Defense Experience
• Experience with SAFe Agile
• Experience with Army Tactical Radios & Terminals
• Familiar with IPv4 and IPv6 multicast.
• Cisco CCNA and Sec+
• Experience with STIGs and how they’re applied to network devices.

Salary Range: $115,800.00 - $173,800.00The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
