Job Summary

The Quality Trainee will support the Quality department in ensuring product and process compliance with established standards and specifications. This entry-level position offers a valuable opportunity to learn and contribute to quality assurance within a dynamic manufacturing environment.

Job Responsibilities

* Assist in the implementation and maintenance of the Quality Management System (QMS).
* Participate in root cause analysis and problem-solving activities for quality non-conformances.
* Support the collection and analysis of quality data, including defect rates, scrap, and rework.
* Assist in conducting internal audits of processes and products to identify areas for improvement.
* Learn and apply various quality tools and methodologies (e.g., 8D, FMEA, SPC).
* Collaborate with production, engineering, and other departments to address quality issues.
* Prepare and maintain quality documentation and reports.
* Support the inspection and testing of incoming materials, in-process components, and finished products.
* Participate in continuous improvement initiatives within the Quality department.
* Adhere to all company safety regulations and procedures.

Job Qualifications

* Bachelor's degree in Engineering (e.g., Industrial, Mechanical, Electrical), Quality Management, or a related technical field.
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* Proactive attitude and a strong desire to learn.
* Familiarity with quality management principles or manufacturing environments is a plus.
* Fluency in Spanish and English (written and verbal) is highly desirable.
