    We offer you an opportunity to join Sabre's FinOps/Capacity team. FinOps (Financial Operations) /Capacity is responsible for analyzing, planning, and optimizing the financial aspects of IT infrastructure consumed by Sabre's mission-critical systems. Our team has an exciting opportunity for an expert FinOps Specialist in Krakow. This is a pivotal role in the organization with responsibility for cost forecasting, resource allocation, and financial optimization of Sabre's cloud environments. The FinOps Specialist role will provide the candidate with the opportunity to work with a variety of people at all levels, both technical and managerial, across the enterprise.

    Responsibilities:

    • Develop financial performance reports across essential distributed environments.
    • Create cost forecasts based on historical trends and future business projects.
    • Analyze and model financial data to generate optimization recommendations and plans.
    • Define meaningful financial metrics and processes for scaling and managing cloud costs.
    • Ensure requirements for cost efficiency and financial accountability are met in planning and operations.

    Required Skills:

    • Proficient in data analysis and problem solving.
    • Knowledge of Cloud Services (e.g., AWS, GCP, Azure).
    • Understanding of financial modeling and proficiency in mathematical analyses.
    • Excellent verbal and written English communication.

    Additional Assets:

    • Technical experience in Financial Data Analysis.
    • Knowledge of LINUX/UNIX operating system performance metrics and principles.
    • Knowledge of virtualization and distributed computing systems.
    • Financial planning or performance management experience in a cloud computing environment.
    • Knowledge or experience of FinOps tools and practices.
    • Application and system cost optimization experience.
    • Ability to build analytical models and forecast financial needs.
    • Experience in statistical analysis tools (e.g., Excel, Minitab, R, Python).
