The Tech For Operations (TFO) team provides innovative and secure technologies to help clients build an intelligent operating model, driving exceptional results. Works closely with the sales, offering and delivery teams to identify and build innovative solutions. Major sub deals include AHO(Application Hosting Operations), ISMT (Infrastructure Management), Intelligent Automation In this role, you will be responsible for planning, designing, scripting, and executing automated functional tests that ensure that all functional and business requirements are met by applications or systems and create automation framework with Selenium through Java.
What are we looking for? The Quality Engineering Architecture Analyst is a detail oriented, motivated individual who working with a team will ensure the highest levels of quality assurance for our software applications. The Quality Engineering Architecture Analyst will be responsible for designing, implementing, and running QA processes including automatic testing, test planning and defect tracking. The ideal candidate is a person experienced with creating repeatable and scalable testing solutions along with tracking and reporting on test results.
Roles and Responsibilities: •Responsibilities: • Contribute to an end-to-end automated test suite for the OnProcess product set. • Deeply engage with product and technical teams to understand product requirements and align test plans to those requirements. • Develop standards and metrics for measuring testing success or failures. • Work closely with engineering and support teams to incorporate testing into both code and data pipelines. • Conduct root cause analysis activities and risk analysis. • Estimate, prioritize and plan testing activities. • Track quality assurance metrics such as defect densities and open defect counts • Understand business needs and objectives. • Maintain strict data security controls and standards. • Adhere to data management best practices and maintain detailed documentation. • Evangelize good testing practices throughout the engineering team. Qualifications: • 5+ years experience in working as a QA engineer. • Have previously written automated end-to-end tests for complex web applications. • Have built or enhanced an automated testing framework. • Strong programming skills in languages such as Python, Java, C#, or JavaScript. • Proficiency in test automation frameworks and tools, such as Selenium WebDriver, TestNG, JUnit, PyTest, SonarQube or similar. • Experience with API testing and automation using tools like Postman, RestAssured, or similar. • Solid understanding of software development methodologies, agile practices, and continuous integration/continuous delivery (CI/CD) pipelines. • Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git) and defect-tracking tools (e.g., Azure Test Plans). • Knowledge of database systems, SQL, and data validation techniques. • Stong analytical, problem-solving, and data-driven decision-making skills. • Experience with automated reporting and live monitoring of test cases • Experience with day-to-day team management including onboarding, continuous training/upskilling, and career development. • Able to delegate tasks and assign workloads while communicating progress updates to leadership and other teams. • Continuously assess and improve testing processes and methodologies based on industry best practices and lessons learned. • Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills both virtually and in person • Experience working with geographically disperse teams. Education/Certification requirement: • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Information Systems, Information Technology, Computer Science, or other related disciplines.
