What you will do:

Under leadership direction, you will work on the truck-based team, providing routine, periodic service, and inspections on Mechanical HVAC equipment at customer sites.

How you will do it:

  • Change and Service Filters
  • Oil and Grease Bearings 
  • Perform Belt adjustment and replacement services. 
  • Perform Cooling Tower and Condenser Maintenance (coils, evaporators, and tubes) 
  • Perform general housekeeping tasks as required by customer contract. 
  • Operate mechanical equipment if deemed necessary by customer contract. 
  • Operate maintenance tasks using basic hand tools as needed.
  • Perform Indoor Air Quality related maintenance including but not limited to the cleaning of duct systems and drain pans.
  • Transport rigging equipment to and from sites as needed.
  • Assist HVAC Journeymen as needed.
  • Responsible for servicing product and equipment on luxury yachts and ensuring customer satisfaction.

What we look for or require:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Must have at least a G2 gas fitter's license.
  • Self-starter with the ability to work independently.
  • This position requires a current clean driver's license/abstract.
  • Must be a good standing member with the LOCAL 787
