Compensation

Compensation includes a base salary of $44,700.00 - $67,100.00. The base salary may vary within the anticipated base pay range based on factors such as the ultimate location of the position and the selected candidate’s knowledge, skills, and abilities. Position may be eligible for additional compensation that may include an incentive program.

Job Description

As a Fleet Service Advisor, it is your job to ensure that managed care customers are receiving repairs and services that meet our high expectations. We will review every managed repair both before approval is granted and upon completion for accuracy, validity, repair standards and possible warranty. You will ensure that service providers abide by the customer’s service & billing standards and specifications, and that invoices are delivered in a timely, accurate manner.

Job Duties:

  • Deliver an elite customer-experience – providing industry-leading:
    • Communication (Daily, Weekly, & Monthly Reporting, Timely Field & Customer Response).
    • Quality (Billing Accuracy, Service Standards).
    • Safety (Customer Safety Standards and Expectations, PM Currency & Findings, DOT compliance).
  • Analyze, Dispute, & Approve/Deny internal and external Vendor Estimates.
    • Utilize Vehicle Repair History, Vehicle Warranty Information, Parts Pricing, SRT Times, Budget.
  • Audit Daily Managed repairs and PM inspections submitted for accuracy and validity.
    • RO Summaries.
    • PM Write-Ups/Pictures.
  • Schedule & Manage PM Currency for customers/vehicles that utilize 3rd Party Vendors.
    • Ensure we are receiving technician certifications & DOT forms.
  • Act as our managed customers proxy with responsibility to manage their repairs on their behalf.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related discipline. The right candidate could also have a different combination, such as 4 years’ experience in a related field.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Familiarity with Fleet Maintenance, particularly heavy & medium duty fleets.
    • Standard Repair Times, Industry Trends, Service Intervals, Vehicle Components.
    • Previous mechanical training preferred.
    • Industry Certifications like ASE will be taken into consideration.
  • Strong organization skills.
    • Simultaneously navigate multiple tasks & customers.
  • Excellent Written & Verbal Communication Skills.
  • Skilled in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong problem-solving skills resulting in reduced downtime for our customers.
  • Adaptable to a changing environment with the ability to learn new software.
