A Day in the Life

Medtronic is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Executive Research Consultant to join our dynamic Talent Acquisition team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in shaping Medtronic's executive talent landscape by leading various research and market intelligence initiatives.

Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned:


• Provide expert counsel to both Executive Search leadership and Medtronic senior exec leaders on industry trends, competitive landscapes, and top talent insights. Serve as expert on market intelligence and market mapping
• Develop and maintain network of qualified and diverse senior executive candidates through proactive sourcing strategies, leveraging internal, external, and executive referrals
• Drive innovation in executive research, sourcing, and hiring by identifying and implementing cutting-edge approaches to attract top talent
• Collaborate closely with internal and external stakeholders, including Hiring Managers, Talent Management Directors and HR business partners, to optimize sourcing strategies and ensure alignment with business objectives
• Deliver an exceptional experience for candidates throughout the recruiting and hiring process, fostering a positive impression of Medtronic
• Find reliable and relevant data from various sources (databases, APIs, web scraping)
• Design the plan and execute research projects, including defining objectives, selecting methodologies, and formatting findings in presentation form

Required Knowledge and Experience:


• Bachelor’s degree
• Fluent in English
• Seven or more years of experience in executive research and talent acquisition, with a strong track record of success in identifying and attracting top-tier executives
• Experience working with market insights
• Advanced user of LinkedIn Recruiter
• Deep understanding of executive talent markets and industry trends
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and consulting skills
• Ability to build strong relationships with senior leaders and stakeholders.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Experience with Workday is advantageous
