As an Registered Dietitian, you will provide individualized medical nutrition therapy, education, and counseling to patients. While working with our team of caregivers, you will optimize nutrition care and patient experience. Your primary duties will include but are not limited to:
• Providing direct care to patients using medical nutrition therapy.
• Providing counseling and education to patients with disease processes.
• Implementing a nutritional care plan, communication plan, and establishing a follow-up system to maintain documentation.
• Write and document changes to diet orders, initiate nutrient intake assessments, inform physicians for patient’s nutritional status, and more.
The ideal future caregiver is someone who:
• Has effective communication skills.
• Has compassion and empathy in a patient-centered environment.
• Works well independently and can multitask
• Has an active Registered Dietitian certification.
