What You’ll Get to Do:

CACI has an excellent opportunity for an experienced, self-directed, Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager (MECM) - Senior . This position is in support of a Department of Defense (DoD) organization, US AFRICOM located OCONUS in Stuttgart, Germany.  This position is required to relocate OCONUS. 

Collaborates with USAFRICOM colleagues, team members, and other stakeholders to manage USAFRICOM MECM environments. Tracks problems, monitors performance, and performs upgrades to systems, as required, with the proper change control approvals. Prepares and maintains documentation on system configurations, procedures, and service records related to system changes.

The successful candidate must be able to communicate clearly and succinctly both written and orally, and present products and ideas in a business-like manner. The candidate will be required to work in dynamic fast paced environments that require team interaction and coordination of efforts.  The candidate must be experienced in interfacing with both client managers and system users.  The engineer will be competent in all areas of Windows workstation image development and deployment.  The candidate should speak well in front of an audience and be able to present design briefs to high ranking personnel and be able to provide whiteboard training sessions and presentations to incoming personnel in a clear, concise but comprehensive manner.

You’ll Bring These Qualifications:

  • Currently hold a Top Secret/ SCI clearance
  • Very good understanding of Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager (MECM)
  • Current Microsoft server/admin certification, as well as IAT II certification (Security+ etc)
  • BA/BS +3 yrs. recent specialized or AA/AS +7 yrs. recent specialized or a major cert + 7 yrs. recent specialized or 11 years of recent specialized for TESA approval
  • 5+ years working with MECM/SCCM/Windows server environment
  • Very good understanding of Windows workstation configuration and administration
  • Application of security settings/STIGs and other commercial security best practices.
  • Key Knowledge Factors: 1.      Configuration Management: Proficiency in Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager (MECM) for deploying, managing, and maintaining Windows devices. 2.      Scripting and Automation: Experience with PowerShell or other scripting languages to automate tasks and create custom solutions. 3.      Patch Management: Knowledge of patch deployment and software updates using MECM. 4.      Application Deployment: Ability to package and deploy applications using MECM. 5.      Troubleshooting: Strong problem-solving skills to diagnose and resolve issues related to MECM deployments. 6.      Security: Understanding of security best practices for managing endpoints. 7.      Monitoring and Reporting: Familiarity with monitoring MECM infrastructure and generating reports.

These Qualifications Would be Nice to Have:

  • Extensive Windows Server 2019 experience
  • Microsoft Azure knowledge and certification
  • ITIL v4 - Foundation
  • Adaptable to changing circumstances and operational needs
  • Understanding of Department of Defense Military standards
  • Understanding of Microsoft AppLocker
  • Extensive PowerShell Scripting experience around image management and deployment

The proposed salary range for this position is:

$98,500 - 206,800 USD
