About the Position:

The Revenue Accounting Manager will oversee the revenue recognition process, from contract review to revenue recognition. This role requires a strategic thinker with strong analytical skills and a deep understanding of US GAAP revenue recognition principles.

As a Revenue Accounting Manager, you will: 

  • Ensure the revenue is accurately and timely recognized
  • Review supporting evidence (such as proof of delivery and signed contracts) and provide accounting expertise in revenue recognition processes, including product catalogue, customer, subscription set-ups in billing and accounting systems.
  • Prepare and update accounting schedules to calculate ASC 606 revenue
  • Perform analytical reviews on the monthly Revenue Analytics and Balance Sheet account reconciliations
  • Clearly communicate to our internal partners (e.g. FP&A and the business) on revenue trends and flux
  • Prepare supporting schedules and pull requested documents for audits.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders, seeking opportunities to improve our data and processes
  • Assist with compiling and reviewing system/data conversion files for new acquisitions and/or system upgrades.
  • Provide coach and support to team members.

You are a strong fit for this role if you have

  • Minimum of bachelor’s degree in accounting, and/or CPA.
  • Strong technical accounting knowledge of ASC 606 with 4+ years of professional experience in the SaaS industry.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, excellent knowledge of Excel.
  • Proficiency in revenue management software and tools, preferably Salesforce, Zuora RevPro.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
