What you’re applying for

We’re looking for an experienced Mechanical Engineer to join our R&D team, focusing on creating cutting-edge electro-mechanical smart products. This role offers the opportunity to develop new technologies for a superior user experience, innovating at the intersection of technology and design. We need a creative thinker and maker with the discipline of a researcher, the vision to design intuitive and beautiful products, and the ability to see both the big picture and the fine details.

What we're looking for

We’re looking for a versatile, Senior Mechanical Engineer who thrives in leading cross-functional product development, driving projects from concept to production with high standards and attention to detail. You are passionate about high-end design and excel at the intersection of cutting-edge manufacturing technologies and physical product innovation.

Expertise and experience

  • 5+ years of experience in CAD software (preferably SolidWorks or Onshape).
  • Proven experience developing products with high user-facing requirements and exacting standards.
  • Strong background in preparing production files for metal machining, 3D printing, injection molding, and wood machining/carpentry.
  • Hands-on expertise designing mechanical-electrical (ME-EE) integrated systems in collaboration with electrical engineers.
  • Familiarity with high-volume production environments and supporting products for mass production, including fixtures, assembly lines, and product testing.
  • Exceptional understanding of cost drivers in mass production, with the ability to balance design ambition and cost efficiency while engaging stakeholders to align on goals.
