Airgas is seeking individuals with exceptional customer service skills with both internal and external customers, excellent verbal and written communication skills, demonstrated attention to detail, creative problem solving skills, and a positive team player who wants to contribute to the success of their team. As a Sales Support Meeting Specialist you will be responsible for providing meeting and additional administrative support to all building departments. This person will also be responsible for time sensitive reports, planning various functions, and reception back up duties.

As a Customer Support Specialist your responsibilities will include:

Plan, coordinate, schedule and provide support for meetings and training for the various departments; including coordination of catering, room prep, printed material support, and a few evening events. 

Create monthly PowerPoint/Slides for building communication systems.

Complete and update Month To Date phone stats on a daily basis for Telesales 

Assist the front desk, providing coverage and back up support

Be a liaison for visitors with technological needs such as Google meets and Wifi access

Assist with on-boarding tasks for the building, such as first day photos. Building tour, covering building specific policies, such as facility access policy, emergency evacuation and dress code.  

& Special duties as assigned.

Are you a MATCH?

Education and Experience:

  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent required.  

  • 2 years of customer service experience. Hospitality experience is a plus. 

  • Or Minimum 2 years of relevant work experience

  • Ability to interact and take direction from all levels of Airgas employees 

  • Excellent communication and organizational skills required 

  • Self-motivated, proactive individual that is comfortable working both independently and as a team member

  • Ability to manage multiple projects under specific deadline constraints 

  • Proficient in Google Suites and/or Microsoft Office

  • SAP Knowledge is a plus
