The Credit Cards Crew has end-to-end responsibility for the Commonwealth Bank Credit Cards business. We consist of squads that look after the development of the credit card products, acquisition, the growth of our portfolio, our loyalty program and end-to-end process improvement. See yourself in the team

You will report to the Chapter Lead for Credit Card Product & Solutions, who will support you with your performance and development. As a member of the Commercial Cards Squad, you will play a pivotal role in managing, optimising and promoting CommBank’s Procurement and Digital Corporate Card Solutions

Your primary objective will be to manage end-to-end, CommBank’s virtual and lodge card products, and client corporate card management portal.   This will include product governance, risk, frontline engagement (sales and service) and being the product subject matter expert. Your strong stakeholder engagement skills will see you develop and manage key relationships critical to the team’s success.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Product Management: manage end-to-end CommBank’s corporate single use virtual card products, Procurement Management Account product and client card management portal, CommBank Card Manager
  • Frontline engagement: Engage with sales, account, relationship and front/back-office support teams to ensure that these teams have consistently high levels of corporate cards knowledge and expertise. Assist front-line sales and bid teams with content for tender responses (this includes participating in presentation of this content to clients/prospective clients).
  • Third party engagement: Work with external strategic and industry partners and suppliers to support integration issues and new business opportunities
  • Pricing: corporate card arrangements including formulation and proposal of offers and obtaining relevant approvals and calculation and payment of actual revenue share
  • Risk management: Responsible for proactively managing risks including performance of regular controls, identification of issues, escalation and swift resolution of issues including remediation  
  • Customer experience: Continuously improve the customer experience by reviewing and enhancing features, benefits and digital experience
  • Compliance: Ensure that the origination process complies with all regulatory requirements
  • Performance Analysis: Analyse product performance, KPIs (Key Performance Indicators) and customer complaints to identify areas for improvement and opportunities for growth

We want to hear from you if you have

  • Strong cards product knowledge (preferred). As well, experience managing banking products is highly regarded
  • Experience in all aspects of end-to-end product management
  • Experience in delivering strong outcomes in an Agile environment
  • Strong communication skills with experience in face-to-face client engagement
  • Strong stakeholder engagement and influencing skills, including the ability to progress multiple initiatives concurrently
  • The ability to think analytically and use data and insights to make decisions
  • A risk mindset – all CommBank employees are expected to proactively identify and understand, openly discuss, and act on current and future risks.
  • A tertiary degree in Legal, Finance, Banking, Economics, Accounting or related discipline is highly regarded.
