ROLE SUMMARY

The Global Clinical Supply (GCS) Learning & Development (L&D) Associate is a position within the GCS Strategic Hubs (GSH) team and will be based in Costa Rica. The GCS L&D Associate will be reporting to the GSH Team Lead in Costa Rica.

 GCS supports all Phase 1 through Phase 4 clinical trials and is a global function in the Pfizer Research and Development organization.

The GCS L&D Associate will collaborate with GCS cross-functional teams by supporting the delivery of optimal learning solutions that are aligned with our organizational and operational goals and strategic priorities. The GCS L&D Associate will contribute to high-quality business results, business process development, and continuous improvement of learning and development programs.

To succeed in this role, a strong passion for learning and development and the ability to effectively communicate and engage with colleagues at all levels is required. The candidate’s creativity, meticulous attention to detail, and organizational skills will be essential in delivering impactful training initiatives.

ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Provide support for the development and delivery of L&D programs within GCS and assist GCS functional line subject matter experts (SMEs) to ensure training initiatives meet business needs and deliver measurable results.

  • Generate metrics reports and monitor Key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure effectiveness and impact of training programs on organizational and operational performance.

  • Assist with the creation of L&D tools/materials, deployment of training modules, and continuous improvement initiatives.

  • Send training reminders and give feedback to improve L&D content and delivery.

  • Support onboarding and offboarding activities and system access requests and resolve general technical issues.

  • Attend periodic meetings with teams in other global time zones outside of normal work hours.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, human resources, education, or a related field.

  • 1-3 years of proven experience in training, learning and development.

  • Advanced English written and oral skills.

  • Excellent organization, communication, and interpersonal skills.

  • Intermediate knowledge of MS Office.

  • Ability to troubleshoot and resolve basic technical issues efficiently.

  • Strong attention to detail and exercise integrity and good judgment when handling confidential information.

  • Demonstrated ability to effectively work as part of a team in an assigned capacity.

  • Fast learner with adaptable and problem-solving skills.

  • Must be enthusiastic, self-motivated, hands-on, results-oriented, and a team player.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Experience in the pharmaceutical industry collaborating and supporting cross-functional global teams.

  • Experience with training systems and document management systems.

  • Strong aptitude for learning and utilizing technology and software applications.
