The Opportunity:

  • Perform government property administration, procurement, and asset accounting duties and manual tasks to maintain an inventory of equipment (full cycle asset control). 

  • Perform data management, coordination of government access requests and travel request approvals, and entry of program deliverables information on a SharePoint site. 

  • Use your ability to digest new technical information at a rapid pace for practical use.

  • Serve as a backup for the office receptionist as needed. 

  • Work site is primarily at the CACI Norfolk, VA office; on occasion at the home site (with prior arrangements).

  • Must be a U.S. Citizen. Must have the ability to obtain a DOD Interim Secret security clearance and subsequent final DOD Secret security clearance. 


Responsibilities:

  • Maintain inventory control of government assets, company assets, and property. Coordinate Government Furnished Equipment (GFE) and Contractor Acquired Property (CAP) requests, movements, returns, dispositions, failures, incident reporting, and other periodic GFE/CAP inventory reporting. Comply with annual government inventory control and auditing procedures. Act as the program liaison for company response to Defense Contract Management Agency (DCMA) property audits.

  • Coordinate employee federal government access requests (Shipyard badges, Common Access Cards or CACs, credential transfers) across multiple customer sites.  

  • Ship and receive equipment, materials, and other assets. Research purchase of equipment in support of program and government requirements. 

  • Route employee travel requests for approval. Ensure accuracy of data related to program events and other program deliverables on the program SharePoint site and program of record.

  • Duties as the back-up office receptionist include greeting visitors and providing visitor badges, validating parking, accepting deliveries, and communicating with employees regarding facility issues.

  • Support the execution of contract requirements, which may include submission of supporting data and metrics and timely completion of written reports to stakeholders, customers, and CACI leadership.

  • Other duties as assigned.


Qualifications:

Required: 

  • Bachelor’s degree and a minimum 3 years of work experience as indicated below. In lieu of the degree requirement, candidates with a minimum 5 years of directly applicable work experience may be considered for this position.

  • Work experience in federal government inventory control and/or logistics management, i.e.,: (1) Experience with the receipt, inventory, tracking, shipment, and management of Government Furnished Equipment (GFE) and/or Contractor Acquired Property (CAP); and/or (2) Experience managing logistics tasks associated with DoD or Federal contracts and oversight of Government material management systems and procurement processes, to include receiving material purchase requests, following purchase approval processes, and maintaining an accurate status report of all purchases and received materials.

  • Laser-focused attention to detail and strong organizational and tracking skills.

  • Strong customer service orientation and written/verbal communication skills with the ability to respectfully engage internal and external customers at all levels in a manner that achieves successful outcomes.

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and time management, and ability to prioritize multiple concurrent projects and tasks efficiently.




Desired:

  • Knowledge of, and experience following, ISO 9001, AS9100, or CMMI quality process standards.
  • Familiarity with the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 52.254-1 Government Property and Procurement Integrated Enterprise Environment (PIEE).
  • Understanding of the costs and financial implications of logistics management efforts and of risk management/mitigation.
  • Work experience with the naval maintenance community, the US Navy, or the Department of Defense.

Pay Range:

This posting is for a position covered by the Service Contract Labor Standards (SCA). The pay and benefits provided for this position will meet or exceed the minimum required amounts detailed in the wage determination issued by the Department of Labor and made applicable to this position, as incorporated into CACI’s government contract for the work location.
 

Minimum Required Hourly Wage:

$29.38
