We are looking for a Senior Principal, Brand Creative for Jordan in the EHQ.
You will be reporting directly to the Senior Director, Brand Marketing Jordan EMEA.
You will be part of the management team as an individual contributor, and you will primarily work with the Jordan Brand Marketing teams in the Geo and the Cities. Apart from the EMEA teams, you will work closely with the Jordan Global Brand Creative team to ensure creative consistency and alignment. Besides to Nike/Jordan, you will lead agencies/artists to develop executional craft of the projects.
You are a creative that has an ever-expanding knowledge and network. You are passionate and connected to the creative industry – looking at the latest trends in art direction, graphic design, set design, and consumer experience design - while following both Jordan Brand Marketing Strategies, Brand Creative Functional Goals and Brand Standards.
Additionally, you bring a desire to be part of a fast-paced, high energy, and skilled team of marketers that have a passion for sport and culture and creating meaningful connections between consumers and the Jordan brand. Apart from these, your focus and expertise should include:
Experience in the Sport and/or Streetwear industry, an understanding of streetwear culture, fashion with a comprehensive knowledge of sport – basketball, basketball culture and global football.
A minimum of 8+ years leading creative direction, creative strategy, art design and storytelling, implement brand concepts with a strong focus on sport, streetwear and basketball culture.
Proven experience leading and driving E2E brand campaigns and product launches from Global campaign extensions (80%) to originated EMEA campaigns (20%).
Instinctive collaborative nature encouraging relationships across teams, functions, and geographies.
Bringing a fresh POV and knowledge to contribute to the team on projects.
Experience influencing and leading complex and multi-cultural environments with diverse partners.
Making decisions and driving clarity on articulating the creative vision within the team and main partners and Empowering and driving clarity with an external agency team, as well as distributing the workload in a strategic way.
Demonstrate the ability to identify and authentically connect a brand to a digital community of athletes and catalysts and a strong understanding of digital marketing/storytelling and consumer experience at retail and brand activations.
Advanced knowledge of Graphic Design, Motion/ 3D Design/Render Software, Adobe CC and Keynote software is a plus
Proven ability to direct and apply skills that include – drawing, concept ideation, typography, color theory, art direction, graphic design, 3D environmental design, 3D rendering + visualization, visual presentation development & layout.
Willingness to travel up to 40%.
Our Senior Principal, Brand Creative will help driving the Jordan Brand’s connection to the EMEA consumer. You will deliver high quality projects end-to-end and communicate creative concepts to various internal and external audiences throughout the creative process. You will play a meaningful role in developing, executing and supervising the work in different areas within the Jordan EMEA marketplace. The scope:
EMEA right extensions of global creative concepts or origination of EMEA creative concepts.
Drive marketing campaign creative from a production and strategy POV to engage with the right agencies/artists.
Average budgets of max $250K
Brings innovation to life through IRL experiences at retail and/or brand activation
Product launches, brand events/activations, digital experiences, and immersive retail experiences.
Answer seasonal briefs to drive strategic alignment, concept creation, end in mind execution, digital and physical retail excellence and delivery of full funnel of creative.
In addition to the above, you are across various projects and fields of play - FoP (Sport, Streetwear and Energy), therefore, you will be responsible of keeping a great communication across all of the FoP teams and other partners. Your role is to ensure sharper and impactful creative end to end, serve Jordan FoP consumers always, drive premium executions at scale and lead the brand into the future.
