Accelerate your career at RXO
RXO is a leading provider of transportation solutions. With cutting-edge technology at the center, we're revolutionizing the industry with our massive network and commitment to finding solutions for every challenge. We create more efficient ways for shippers and carriers to transport goods across North America.

As an Associate Analyst, Accessorial, at RXO, you’ll serve as an intermediary to RXO’s carrier and customer representatives when accessorial charges (amounts billed for additional, supplemental or special services) are requested by the underlying carriers for specified customers. You’ll also administer the timely filing of the accessorial charges approved and paid by RXO to the specific customer in order to minimize RXO’s accessorial expenditures.

What your day-to-day will look like:

  • Develop excellent working relationships with internal and external customers

  • Manage multiple customer accounts in a fast-paced environment while meeting timelines and deadlines

  • Monitor incoming accessorial requests from the underlying carriers

  • Communicate with RXO representatives (carrier and/or customer) regarding accessorial requests

  • Request and notify accessorial charges to the customer and follow up on outstanding requests when no approval has been given

  • Approve charges for the carrier upon receipt of signed bills that coincide with the accessorial request

  • Identify cost savings opportunities by leveraging industry knowledge and analyzing opportunities to negotiate accessorial charges

  • Notify customer of delays, scheduling issues, late pickups and late deliveries via email/phone, when appropriate

What you’ll need to excel:

At a minimum, you’ll need:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent related work or military experience
