About the Role

Cirium Ascend Consultancy is seeking an enthusiastic Valuations Analyst/Consultant to join our Asia team. This is an exciting opportunity within our Consultancy department, which is based across our London, Dublin, New York, Hong Kong, and Tokyo offices. You will primarily be based in our Asia Office, as part of our diverse, global team of 30 analysts and consultants whose work is recognised as market-leading and industry influencing.

Responsibilities

As a Valuations Analyst/Consultant, you will help deliver projects as part of a highly professional team.

  • Conduct research into values across multiple aircraft types, as well as delivering those values to our clients, liaising with industry leaders in the process.
  • Drive the innovation and evolution of our product offering, including appraisal methodology, within both Ascend and the wider Cirium business.
  • You’ll have the opportunity to support global advisory projects including collaborations across Cirium’s European, US & Asia offices.
  • Working together with other departments in Cirium, you will meet clients, understand their needs and offer tailored expertise and appraisal and advisory solutions to their business.
  • You will have the opportunity to create industry-leading content across multiple platforms, including our Thought Cloud Blog, Viewpoint Magazine, YouTube, as well as Cirium Live Events.

Requirements

  • A bachelor’s degree in a relevant field with an advanced degree (e.g. MBA, CFA) is preferred.
  • Professional experience in aircraft finance, leasing, trading, appraisal sectors, consultancy, engineering or financial services is preferred.
  • Strong analytical and mathematical skills with detailed-oriented, problem-solving capabilities.
  • Experience in researching, manipulating and analysing large datasets, presenting to audiences of different sizes, leading and delivering projects is expected
  • Knowledge of SQL and/or Python is a plus.
  • Be able to communicate fluently and effectively in English, both verbally and in writing. Any other languages (Mandarin, Japanese, Korean) are an advantage but not a prerequisite.
  • Travel globally to industry events and our office network (role includes 5-15% travel).
  • Candidate experience will drive suitability for the level of the role.
