Job Summary

Responsible for meeting plant targets for safety, quality, efficiency and cost reduction. Train new team members by breaking down standardized work and being a resource for assistance until job is mastered for PMM line

Job Description

Rate of Pay : $18.74/hr. Responsible for learning all operations in the fabrication, sub-assembly, assembly, and testing of electric motor parts according to print specifications. Includes the operation of equipment in the assembly process such as presses, drilling, stamping, grinding, or tapping as well as the assembly procedures.  Duties may also include soldering, lubrication, parts cleaning. Set-up equipment, organizes material, instruct operators, and inspect for quality with each operation. Works with Group Leader & Supervisor in the daily operations of the department including the coordination of operators, processes, and equipment in the assembly of parts according to production schedule and print specifications. Obtain and interpret manufacturing specifications to determine materials and equipment required for operations.  Perform routine maintenance on equipment, report equipment/safety malfunctions to Group Leader or Supervisor. Management of hazardous chemical storage within work area.   Work with management in problem resolution and product improvement.  Maintain necessary paperwork and records as required.
