To unlock information and insights that drive better health outcomes. Here we are 25 years later, having pioneered an industry. And we're just getting started. We are broadening our vision beyond diabetes to empower people to take control of health. That means personalized, actionable insights aimed at solving important health challenges. To continue what we've started: Improving human health.

We are driven by thousands of ambitious, passionate people worldwide who are willing to fight like warriors to earn the trust of our customers by listening, serving with integrity, thinking big, and being dependable. We've already changed millions of lives and we're ready to change millions more. Our future ambition is to become a leading consumer health technology company while continuing to develop solutions for serious health conditions. We'll get there by constantly reinventing unique biosensing-technology experiences. Though we've come a long way from our small company days, our dreams are bigger than ever. The opportunity to improve health on a global scale stands before us.

Meet the team:

Dexcom is seeking a strategic and results-driven Senior Manager of Commercial IT to lead our technology roadmap for Sales, Marketing, and Service. In this role, you will manage US resources for the primary business partner to our Commercial leadership team, translating business goals into scalable technology solutions.

You will oversee the ecosystem of applications that drive revenue (CRM, Marketing Automation, Analytics) while ensuring strict adherence to the regulatory requirements unique to the Medical Device industry (HIPAA, GDPR, Sunshine Act, GxP). The ideal candidate is a bridge-builder who speaks both the language of field sales and the language of technical engineering.

Where you come in:

1. Strategy & Business Partnering:

  • Partner with Sales, Marketing, and Commercial Operations leadership to define a multi-year technology strategy that supports product launches, territory expansion, and market penetration.

  • Analyze business processes to identify gaps and opportunities for automation, digitalization, and efficiency improvements.

  • Manage the Commercial IT budget, including CapEx/OpEx planning, software licensing, and vendor contract negotiations

2. Commercial Platforms Management (CRM & MarTech):

  • Own the architecture, development, and ongoing maintenance of the Commercial stack, primarily focused on Salesforce.com (SFDC) or Veeva CRM.

  • Oversee the integration of marketing automation platforms (e.g., Marketo, HubSpot, Salesforce Marketing Cloud) with the CRM to ensure a seamless lead-to-revenue process.

  • Manage field sales tools, ensuring mobile capabilities (iPad/Tablets) are optimized for representatives accessing HCP (Health Care Professional) data and inventory management systems in the field.

3. Data Analytics & Insights:

  • Collaborate with Data Engineering teams to deliver actionable dashboards and reporting (PowerBI, Tableau, Einstein Analytics) for sales forecasting, pipeline health, and territory performance.

  • Ensure the integrity of customer master data (HCPs, HCOs, GPOs/IDNs) and manage data integration between ERP (SAP/Oracle) and CRM.

4. Compliance & Governance:

  • Ensure all commercial systems comply with global regulatory standards, including 21 CFR Part 11, GDPR, HIPAA, and the Physician Payments Sunshine Act (transparency reporting).

  • Lead validation efforts for GxP-impacted systems (if applicable) and maintain audit-ready documentation.

  • Implement strict data governance and security protocols regarding patient data and intellectual property.

5. Team & Vendor Management:

  • Lead and mentor a team of internal business analysts, developers, and system administrators.

  • Manage external managed service providers (MSPs) and implementation partners to ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget.

What makes you successful:

Technical Skills:

  • Proven track record of managing full-lifecycle IT projects using Agile/Scrum methodologies.

  • Understanding of ERP integrations (SAP, Oracle, or Microsoft Dynamics) with Commercial front-end systems.

Key Competencies:

  • Change Management: Ability to drive adoption of new tools among a non-technical field sales force.
