About the Team

The Technology Finance team partners with the CIO org to drive technology goals towards business outcomes in a financially prudent manner. It is responsible for providing analyses, insights and reporting that help identify drivers of performance and guide appropriate tactical actions to improve financial outcomes. The Digital team partners with the business to delver insightful and proactive financial analysis that drive fact based, data driven decision making around the digital business.

Job Summary:

We are looking for an Analyst – FP&A who can drive business decisions & provide insight and financial recommendations based on data & analysis.

To be successful one should be,

  • Comfortable with presenting & reporting consistent & accurate financial information to leadership

  • Self-starter with a proactive mindset, eager to drive efficiency and improve financial processes.

  • Able to use & collect data from multiple BI / reporting tools and synthesize summaries / surface insights

  • Have an affinity to understand technology & business through a sound financial, accounting lens and a strong analytical foundation

  • Drive productivity initiatives & simplification projects to optimize tech spend

  • Build business cases, Create Metrics to measure business impact of technology projects

  • Understand and be able to translate operational & technology metrics into financial impact

Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Own Periodic & Ad hoc Financial reporting of technology P&L, forecasting & insights

  • Track & drive productivity initiatives & other analytical projects for technology

  • Analyze technology contracts, software licenses, and cloud spending to optimize financial outcomes.

  • Track & measure business outcomes from technology deliverables & products

  • Own the design, maintenance & development of new metrics, reports, analyses, dashboards, etc. to drive key business decisions.

  • Identify ways to automate process to make reporting easier and spend more time on analysis & recommendations.

  • Track, analyze & report business impact of technology products / features by designing OKRs and financial measurement.

Required Qualifications:

  • 1.5-3 years of prior experience in finance / technology & analytics.

  • Strong understanding of Finance / accounting concepts

  • 1 year of experience working as a member of a technology or cross-functional team

  • 1 year of experience analyzing data to detect trends, make recommendations, and provide reporting

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience collaborating across time zones

  • Experience working in a large matrixed organization

  • Experience supporting large technology programs

Required Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's / Masters Degree in Engineering / Finance / Analytics

Skill Set Required

Primary Skills (must have)

  • Experienced in Microsoft O365 tools (Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)

Secondary Skills (desired)

  • Expertise in Excel and/or one of the scripting languages (R, Python, etc.)

  • BI Tools : Experience in creating dashboards / visualizations

  • Knowledge of Chat GPT/ other AI tools

  • Good background in financial modelling and Contract analysis
