Summary:
We are looking for a highly skilled and motivated Manager specializing in SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP) Integration Suite to lead the end-to-end integration workstream within a large-scale SAP Systems Integration (SI) project. This role requires deep technical expertise in SAP Integration Suite — including Cloud Integration (CPI), API Management, Event Mesh, and Open Connectors — combined with strong leadership, architecture, and stakeholder management capabilities. The Manager will be responsible for designing, governing, and delivering robust integration solutions that connect SAP and non-SAP systems, enabling seamless enterprise-wide data flows aligned with business objectives.

Roles & Responsibilities:
Project & Workstream Leadership
Lead the SAP BTP Integration Suite workstream across all project phases: Discover, Prepare, Explore, Realize, Deploy, and Run (SAP Activate methodology).
Define integration scope, architecture standards, and delivery milestones in alignment with the overall SI program plan.
Manage and coordinate a team of integration developers, architects, and analysts — including resource planning, sprint planning, and workload balancing.
Collaborate cross-functionally with SAP functional leads (EWM, MM, SD, FI, HR), infrastructure teams, and client IT stakeholders.
Track and report workstream progress, risks, issues, and dependencies to the PMO and steering committee.
Manage change requests, scope variations, and integration landscape decisions with proper documentation and sign-off.
SAP BTP Integration Suite — Solution Design & Delivery
Lead integration architecture workshops to define the enterprise integration strategy, patterns, and technology stack on SAP BTP.
Design and govern integration flows using SAP Cloud Integration (CPI) — including IDoc, SOAP, REST, OData, SFTP, JDBC, and AS2 adapters.
Oversee API design, publishing, security policies, and lifecycle management using SAP API Management.
Architect event-driven integration patterns using SAP Event Mesh (or SAP Advanced Event Mesh) for asynchronous and decoupled scenarios.
Guide the team in using SAP Integration Advisor for B2B/EDI message mapping (UN/EDIFACT, ANSI X12, ODETTE).
Ensure use of reusable integration artifacts, common message structures, and pre-built content from SAP Business Accelerator Hub.
Manage integration with third-party and legacy systems using Open Connectors and custom adapters.
Oversee error handling, monitoring, alerting, and operations via SAP Integration Suite's Operations Cockpit and BTP Alert Notification Service.
Architecture & Governance
Establish and enforce the Integration Center of Excellence (iCoE) standards, naming conventions, and best practices across the project.
Develop and maintain the Integration Architecture document, Interface Catalogue, and Mapping Specifications.
Conduct architecture and design reviews, ensuring scalability, security, and performance of all integration artifacts.
Define and implement integration testing strategy — unit, SIT (System Integration Testing), UAT, and performance testing.
Ensure compliance with data security, privacy (GDPR), and governance requirements within integration flows.
Stakeholder & Client Engagement
Serve as the primary integration point-of-contact for client IT leadership, enterprise architects, and business stakeholders.
Lead integration-related client workshops, design authority sessions, and go-live readiness reviews.
Present integration landscape, progress, and key decisions at steering committee and program board level.
Manage vendor and partner relationships for third-party middleware, legacy systems, and external APIs.
Team Development & Mentoring
Mentor and coach integration developers and senior consultants on SAP BTP best practices, design patterns, and career growth.
Conduct performance evaluations and provide continuous feedback to foster a high-performing integration team.
Support knowledge transfer and handover to client operations teams post go-live.

Professional & Technical Skills:
Experience
8–12 years of SAP integration and middleware experience, with a minimum of 4–5 years focused on SAP BTP Integration Suite (formerly SAP CPI / HCI).
At least 2–3 end-to-end SAP integration project deliveries as an integration lead or manager in a consulting / SI environment.
Proven experience managing integration teams of 5 or more members across geographically distributed locations.
Hands-on experience with SAP S/4HANA integration scenarios (cloud and on-premise).
Background in enterprise integration patterns, SOA, microservices architecture, and API-first design.

15 years full time education
