Senior Specialist, Operations – Costa del Este, Panama

In this role you will provide operational support to our partners in the Northern South America Region. The ideal candidate will act as a liaison among Agents, business, IT, and other support teams to ensure business continuity and availability of Western Union’s Money Transfer services and new products. Being the main point of contact for any network production issue, continuously enhance service quality, ensure compliance with operating standards, and provide training to optimize service delivery and business growth in the Northern South region in LACA. 

Role Responsibilities

  • Ensure Network Productivity.
  • Manage WU Technology Deployments, upgrades and achieve KPI targets.
  • Manage new Agent’s activations.
  • Main Point of Contact for Agent’s escalations.
  • Support the execution of key regional/corporate initiatives.
  • Lead projects and enhancements.

Role Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in any related field.
  • 3 years’ experience in related fields such as financial industry, Banking, Services, Mass distribution, Operations.
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective relationships and partnerships with key stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated experience in leading and managing projects.
  • Strong interpersonal, communication and presentation skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and with minimal supervision.
  • Good computer skills, proficient with MS office applications, specifically Excel.
  • English is a must.
  • Technical background desirable.
