Thomas Jefferson University and Jefferson Health are seeking a Board Certified/Board Eligible Allergist/Immunologist to join our growing academic and clinical practice. This position offers the opportunity to provide comprehensive care for adult and pediatric patients with allergic, immunologic, and respiratory disorders while contributing to the academic mission of one of the nation's leading health systems.

The successful candidate will join a collaborative team dedicated to excellence in patient care, medical education, research, and community outreach.

Job Description

  • Provide outpatient evaluation and management of adult and pediatric patients with allergic and immunologic disorders.
  • Diagnose and treat conditions including:
    • Food allergies
    • Environmental allergies
    • Asthma
    • Allergic rhinitis
    • Atopic dermatitis
    • Urticaria and angioedema
    • Drug allergies
    • Primary immunodeficiency disorders
  • Perform allergy testing and immunotherapy services.
  • Participate in food allergy programs and biologic treatment programs as applicable.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams across Pulmonary Medicine, ENT, Dermatology, Gastroenterology, and Primary Care.
  • Teach and mentor medical students, residents, and fellows.
  • Participate in quality improvement, scholarly activity, and clinical research initiatives.
  • Contribute to the academic mission of Thomas Jefferson University through educational and committee activities.

Qualifications

  • MD, DO, or equivalent medical degree
  • Completion of an ACGME-accredited Allergy & Immunology Fellowship
  • Board Certified or Board Eligible in Allergy & Immunology
  • Eligible for medical licensure in Pennsylvania and/or New Jersey
  • Demonstrated commitment to patient-centered care, education, and academic excellence
  • Interest in teaching, research, and program development preferred
