Intermediate Process Reengineering Analyst
The Process Reengineering Analyst plays a supporting role in analyzing, optimizing, and re-designing core business processes to achieve improvements in efficiency, effectiveness, and overall organizational performance. This position requires an analytical individual who can support the identification of opportunities for automation, streamlining complex workflows, and assist in implementing data-driven solutions. The successful candidate will have a foundational understanding of data analysis methodologies, visualization techniques, and process improvement frameworks, along with basic proficiency in relevant software development and technologies, including front-end and back-end web development concepts. They will support process transformation efforts and contribute to a culture of continuous improvement.
Responsibilities:
The position requires a candidate who can support various activities aimed at assisting in the management of a global organization's resources and contributing to data & analytics solutions for various regions and lines of businesses. This individual will be a direct report to senior team member and support the process requirements.
This role will involve assisting in summarizing data from across the business to support the provision of information to the executive team.
Process Analysis and Documentation: Assist in conducting analyses of existing business processes, learning and applying techniques like value stream mapping and process mining to identify bottlenecks, inefficiencies, pain points, and areas for improvement. Support the development of process maps, workflows, and data models to visualize current and future state processes.
Data Analysis and Insights: Assist in gathering and analyzing data from diverse sources, including transactional systems, databases, and spreadsheets, using SQL, Excel, and other data manipulation tools. Support the interpretation of data to identify insights that can inform process redesign decisions and optimization opportunities.
Process Design and Implementation: Contribute to the design and implementation of process improvements, learning about automation using scripting and software development, and assisting in streamlining workflows to eliminate redundancies and standardize processes. Participate in process redesign workshops and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
Performance Monitoring and Reporting: Assist in developing and maintaining interactive dashboards and reports using Tableau to track key performance indicators (KPIs), monitor process performance, and identify trends and anomalies.
Process Repository and Knowledge Management: Contribute to the development and maintenance of a centralized process repository and knowledge base, assisting in documenting best practices, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and process improvement initiatives. Support knowledge sharing and continuous learning within the organization.
Industry Best Practices and Innovation: Learn about industry best practices, emerging technologies, and innovative approaches in process reengineering and data analysis. Explore new tools and methodologies to support process optimization efforts.
Development of Web-Based Process Automation Tools: Assist in the development and maintenance of web-based applications and tools to automate and streamline business processes. Gain experience with front-end technologies like Angular, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS to create user interfaces, and learn about back-end technologies like Node.js and web services for system integration. Understand basic concepts of secure authentication and authorization.
