What You’ll Get to Do:

  • Work onsite at PAX River NAS with CACI and Government P8 Integration Teams in PAXSIL, PISTL, ITF and TSIL Labs
  • Execute the research, engineering, and development of solutions to support development and operational systems
  • Develop releasable solutions in a specified timeframe and budget
  • Refine and enhance existing applications to best meet customer/operational requirements
  • Optimize legacy operational software as necessary to meet continuously evolving cyber security
  • Apply system level knowledge (OS and hardware) to be able to diagnose issues and provide solutions
  • Consult with Government Security Personnel about suggested changes to modify security posture of systems.
  • Daily contact via phone, email, Teams chat with CACI Austin P8 teams.
  • Attend Daily scrums to provide status and report project blockers

More About the Role:

  • Work on air and ground system infrastructure for our customer that provides pre-mission configuration management and post-mission data workflows to support the war fighter
  • Help develop roadmaps to ensure proper level of support to meet evolving customer needs
  • Develop and maintain user and administrative documentation to meet customer contract requirements
  • Understanding of software life-cycle management (and tools)
  • Occasional travel to Austin, Texas, to coordinate with larger team, potential travel OCONUS to support deployment of Systems and Sustainment needs.
  • Periodic onsite support at PAX to install and test operational systems and updates

You’ll Bring These Qualifications:

Education:

  • Bachelor’s (or higher) degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related technical field, TS/SCI with Polygraph and Comp TIA Security+ Certification

Experience:

  • Minimum 8 year of hands-on experience with Linux and Scripting languages

Required Skills:

  • Active Secret clearance with eligibility to obtain TS/SCI
  • Solid Linux system and Scripting experience with Python, Bash, CI/CD pipeline with Jenkins/Packer and Ansible.
  • Solid understanding of software, complex design concepts, patterns, tools and best practices
  • Basic understanding of virtualization and configuring hypervisor software
  • Basic understanding of distributed systems and networking

These Qualifications Would Be Nice to Have:

  • Experience with Cloud technologies / AWS certification
  • Versed in Agile methodology
  • Worked in Continuous Integration pipeline
  • Active TS/SCI security clearance

The proposed salary range for this position is:

$98,500 - 206,800 USD
