Overview

We are seeking a motivated Apprentice to support the ICA Design team in engineering and documentation activities related to instrumentation, control systems, and automation projects. This role provides hands-on exposure to industrial design practices, standards, and tools under the guidance of experienced engineers.

Your role

• Assist in preparation of ICA design documents such as:
  • Instrument datasheets
  • Cable schedules
  • I/O lists
  • Instrument Schedule
  • Control Philosophy
  • System Architecture
• Support development and modification of drawings using CAD tools
• Maintain engineering documentation and revision records
• Participate in internal design reviews and coordination meetings
• Ensure compliance with company standards and safety practices
• Perform other tasks assigned by supervising engineers
• Learning Exposure:
  • Instrument selection principles
  • Control system architecture basics
  • Industrial standards and codes
  • Engineering documentation lifecycle
  • Coordination across electrical, mechanical, and process teams

About you

• Bachelor’s Degree in: Instrumentation Engineering or Electrical Engineering.
• Basic understanding of industrial instrumentation concepts.
• Familiarity with AutoCAD or similar drafting tools (preferred).
• Basic knowledge of MS Excel/Office
• Required Skills:
