About the Team

About Go-To-Market Team

The Business Technology Go-To-Market team works in close partnership with our business partners to help fuel growth and revenue goals for Workday, along with driving exceptional Customer and employee experiences. The GTM Platform team manages the Operations, Release engineering, Platform Health, and Risk and compliance. In addition it also works with cross functional teams to support tools like Okta, Snaplogic, and various monitoring toolslike New Relic Splunk.

About the Role

Basic qualifications:

  • 6-8 years of hands-on Salesforce experience in configuring and developing custom Apex/Visualforce/Lightning code in the areas of Service and Sales Cloud

  • Expertise Object Oriented design methodologies.

  • Expertise building and scaling custom framework solutions to support a complex custom code base.

  • Heroku development and upgrade experience.

  • Software Application Development on the Salesforce platform using s and Salesforce technologies- Apex, VisualForce, Lightning Web Components, Apex Triggers, Salesforce Integrations

  • Hands-on experience in Salesforce Lightning Experience & Lightning Components implementation.

  • Strong proven experience on designing salesforce solutions with best practices.

  • Ability to debug very complex code. Identify root cause for given problem statement, propose improvement in code by means of either best practices or solution redesign within Salesforce Ecosystem or outside

  • Salesforce Admin and Developer certifications

Other qualifications:

  • Heroku development and upgrade experience.
  • Perform ongoing refactoring of code, utilize visualization and other techniques to fast-track concepts, and deliver continuous improvement
  • Familiarity with Salesforce best coding and security practices.

  • Knowledge of CI/CD tools and relevant implementation best practices.

  • Create , maintain and upgrade documentation, maintain standardization and look for ways to continuously improve processes & procedures.

  • Manage, track and report progress for multiple initiatives

  • Experience on an Agile Scrum project delivered under Continuous Delivery.

  • Familiarity with monitoring tools.

About You

  • Minimum of 6 -8 years of hands-on Salesforce experience in configuring and developing custom Apex/Visualforce/Lightning code in the areas of Service Cloud

  • Strong knowledge of Salesforce security standards. Apex security best practices.

  • Work closely with the technical team and lead team of developers and QA. Work in collaboration with BSA and Business stakeholders

  • Manage, track and report progress for multiple initiatives

  • Experience with a complete software development life cycle 1-2 years’ experience developing with Lightning

  • Experience on an Agile Scrum project delivered under Continuous Delivery / DevOps is preferred

  • Knowledge of Service cloud

  • Ability to debug complex code and propose solutions.

Technical skills: Salesforce, Apex, Visual force, LWC, Django, Python


Workday Pay Transparency Statement

The annualized base salary ranges for the primary location and any additional locations are listed below.  Workday pay ranges vary based on work location. As a part of the total compensation package, this role may be eligible for the Workday Bonus Plan or a role-specific commission/bonus, as well as annual refresh stock grants. Each candidate’s compensation offer will be based on multiple factors including, but not limited to, geography, experience, skills, job duties, and business need, among other things. Primary Location Base Pay Range: $128,000 USD - $192,000 USD
