Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and proactive Senior Finance Associate (Finance Operation) to join
our growing team. This role will be pivotal in designing and enhancing finance process workflows,
developing meaningful reports with appropriate reconciliations, performing in-depth financial
analysis and overseeing the month-end closing process. The ideal candidate will be comfortable
working cross-functionally, bringing both financial acumen and strong communication skills to
support and influence decision-making across the business.

About the Job

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Product, Data Science, Compliance) to design efficient and scalable finance workflows and reporting structures.
• Develop and maintain reports and dashboards to provide transparency into financial performance, trends, and key metrics.
• Ensure timely and accurate reconciliation between various reports and data sources.
• Support the monthly close process, including journal entries, accruals, and account reconciliations.
• Work closely with the Financial Reporting and FP&A teams to validate financial results and support management reporting.
• Prepare and submit accurate and timely regulatory reports to Bank Negara Malaysia (BNM) in accordance with applicable financial regulations and reporting guidelines.
• Maintain compliance with relevant accounting standards, company policies, and regulatory requirements.
• Support internal and external audit requirements, ensuring documentation and controls are in place.
• Oversee daily finance operational tasks, including transaction processing and daily settlement of payments.
• Identify opportunities for automation and process improvements across finance-related functions.

To be successful
Essential:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in audit, finance, accounting, or financial planning & analysis (FP&A).
• Strong understanding of financial reporting, reconciliations, and month-end close processes.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate across teams.
• Strong analytical skills and proficiency in Excel and/or financial reporting tools (e.g., Power Query, SQL etc.).

Preferred:

• Professional qualification (e.g., CPA, ACCA, ICAEW) or equivalent.
• Experience working in the financial services industry (e.g., banking, fintech, payments).
• Familiarity with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle).
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment.
