We are seeking an experienced Global Product Manager to lead our Next Best Action (NBA) Program, which is currently deployed in over 35 markets worldwide. The ideal candidate will oversee the maintenance and future evolution of our NBA operations, working closely with our international tech team, and managing an all-star team in India. The PM will be responsible for leveraging finely tuned processes to drive continuous improvement.

The Global Product Manager will find new and exciting ways to drive the business forward through the power of data and insights. This role is within the Digital Fuel organization. This team is focused on Next Best Action, bringing together data and technology capabilities to allow for the organization to become data- driven and insight-led in every decision to drive revenue and growth.

In this role you will

  • Manage the global NBA product backlog, prioritizing features and enhancements based on business value and strategic alignment
  • Collaborate with stakeholders across markets to gather requirements and ensure the NBA program meets diverse regional needs
  • Work closely with the development team across our Global Capability Centers to define user stories, acceptance criteria, and product specifications
  • Interface with various business strategy and execution teams, internal data dev ops teams as well as with 3rd party vendors to design, develop, and scale NBA capabilities& Interface with various business strategy and execution teams, internal data dev ops teams as well as with 3rd party vendors to design, develop, and scale NBA capabilities.
  • Analyze complex situations and derive workable actions - identify, prioritize, and weigh options and recommend a value-add solution
  • Understand the business processes and requests, to effectively translate business needs into Data Tech requests and actively engage with DevOps team as the solution gets developed
  • Manage your work stream(s) and raise issues in a timely and effective manner and ensure resolution
  • Constructively challenge requirements and current state to increase overall value to the firm
  • Work Closely with the Opportunity Engine and CDP teams to further strategy
  • Oversee the maintenance of current NBA operations while driving innovation and evolution of the program
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for NBA-related queries and issues from global markets
  • Analyze program performance metrics and user feedback to identify areas for improvement
  • Ensure compliance with industry regulations and GSK policies across all markets
  • Facilitate communication between technical teams, business stakeholders, and end-users
  • Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies in the pharmaceutical sales and marketing space
  • Responsible for the direct line management of a product team based in India.

Why you?

Qualifications & Skills:

We are looking for professionals with these required skills to achieve our goals: 

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science, or related field; MBA preferred
  • 5+ years of experience in product management or similar role, preferably in the pharmaceutical industry
  • In-depth knowledge of IQVIA and Veeva platforms, specifically related to NBA technologies
  • Strong understanding of how sales representatives utilize NBA in their daily activities
  • Experience working with global teams and managing cross-cultural communication
  • Excellent project management and organizational skills
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills
  • Agile/Scrum certification (e.g., CSPO) preferred

  • Problem solving and multi-tasking ability in a fast-paced, globally distributed environment
  • Ability to work in a matrix environment, including the ability to connect ideas, people and initiatives.
  • Experience with data analytics and business intelligence tools
  • Knowledge of machine learning and AI applications in pharmaceutical sales
  • Familiarity with regulatory requirements in multiple pharmaceutical markets
  • Experience with pharmaceutical sales
