Schedule: 7am-7pm with a rolling 4 on, 4 off schedule. 

Pay Rate: $20.00-$23.00 per hour, Paid Weekly.

The Dispatch Coordinator I position will be responsible for assisting in all aspects of the operation.

Essential Functions

  • Dispatch, assign and reassign drivers as needed

  • Submits recommendations for development of compliance with transportation policies, procedures, and programs.

  • Analysis of vehicle and driver assignments

  • Analyzes scheduling reviews, and revises driver schedules to increase efficiency and on time departures

  • Constant contact with all drivers on the phone, GPS tracking and in person

  • Ensure compliance with administrative policies, procedures, safety rules, and government regulations.

  • Maintains operation and maintenance of equipment and communication systems.

  • Answers all communications in a timely manner.

  • Complete and update trip sheets nightly, leaving no trip sheets not completed on Saturday nights.

  • Learning of AWG system, video cameras, and XRS system.

  • Additional duties as assigned by manager

Qualifications

  • H.S. diploma/GED required and 1-3 years experience in logistics, transportation, warehouse or related field

  • Three (3) years or more experience in logistics, transportation, warehouse or related field required

  • Three (3) years or more experience in the trucking Industry preferred
